Alabama to get new contact tracing app

The app will use software from Apple and Google, which is already built into smartphones, to track those who may have been exposed to COVID-19 using Bluetooth signals. MotionMobs, a tech company based out of Birmingham, is playing a huge role in developing the app here in Alabama.
