Sam is a results-oriented project manager and program developer who thrives in high-impact, goal-oriented, and dynamic environments. He is a passionate ideator and starter with a strong work ethic and experience at multiple startups. Sam served as President of the Undergraduate Student Government at Tulane University and led a team of more than 80 students to distribute $1 million in funding to more than 200 organizations. As a Teach for America Accelerate Fellow, he analyzed the effect of inter-district transfers on education equity in Los Angeles, created a website design fellowship for students to apply coding skills to small businesses in New Orleans; and, while working with a community union in the Rio Grande Valley, created a video tutorial to improve access to college funding for DACA students. As an Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and a Venture for America Alum, Sam carefully manages the development team’s time to keep projects on schedule, on budget, and on goal.
